Mehr Theatre Group brings Blind Runner to the West Coast for the first time, with text and direction by Amir Reza Koohestani. The production tells the story of an imprisoned Iranian activist who convinces her husband to train a blind runner. Performed in Persian with English supertitles, Blind Runner has been praised for its poignancy and artful use of video, with The Guardian calling it "mesmerizing, stunning, deeply moving." The Farhang Foundation serves as Cultural Partner on this production.
