Rose Center Theater rings in the holidays with A Christmas Carol, the Broadway musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' beloved tale, featuring music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime).
On Christmas Eve, bitter moneylender Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his late partner, Jacob Marley, and the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Over one extraordinary night, Scrooge revisits the choices that shaped him and discovers it is never too late to change his heart. Packed with soaring holiday anthems, lively Victorian street scenes, and the joyful spectacle of the Fezziwigs' Christmas party, the musical brings Dickens' London to life for audiences of every age. Rose Center Theater's production features a stacked cast of Orange County’s brightest performers, making it an ideal holiday outing for families.
Seven performances only, November 29 through December 20, 2026. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 2:00 PM. On Saturday, December 5, The Fezziwig Christmas Ball, A Rose Gala Fundraiser, begins at 6:00 PM with a Christmas feast and a glass of bubbly before the performance.
Tickets are $20 to $30, with gala tickets at $60. Fees apply at checkout. Run time is approximately 2 hours plus intermission. Tickets at rosecentertheater.com or 714-793-1150 ext. 1.
