Disney's The Little Mermaid at Rose Center Theater

By popular demand, Rose Kids returns to the Rose Center Theater stage with an encore engagement of Disney's The Little Mermaid. The original run broke Rose Center Theater box office records, and this exclusive three day extension runs July 31 through August 2, 2026, featuring an entirely youth cast of performers ages 19 and under.

Based on the beloved Disney film, this fully staged musical follows Ariel, a young mermaid who dreams of life above the sea, as she navigates love, family, and the price of following her heart. The production features a score by Alan Menken, with lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a book by Doug Wright, including favorites such as "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," and "Kiss the Girl."

Rose Kids is Rose Center Theater's youth theater program, dedicated to training and nurturing the next generation of performers through high quality, fully staged musical productions, giving young artists ages 6 to 19 the opportunity to grow, shine, and share their talents with the Orange County community.
