Mad Science Is Back At Playhouse On Park! With YOUNG WIZARDS, 3/31
On March 31st, Mad Science is back at Playhouse on Park. After a successful presentation of "Fire and Ice" in February, the popular children's performance series is back with "Young Wizards".
This Mad Science Spectacular explores the science of magic and -- the magic of science! It takes a closer look at magic throughout history as well as common themes and practices used by the wizards of yesterday and the scientists of today, while also referencing familiar favorites from fantasy and fairy tales. In addition, children will be treated to mystical demonstrations including "Bubble potion-making" and other exciting concoctions!
Playhouse on Park is dedicated to providing quality entertainment at affordable prices and educational and outreach opportunities, in collaboration with other existing arts organizations, to the West Hartford community.
The magic unfolds Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $13 and $15 can purchased in person or over the phone at the box office, Tuesday to Friday (10am - 6pm); Saturday (10am - 2pm) and 2 hours before curtain; or online at www.PlayhouseOnPark.org.
