Anthony Bourdain, the internationally acclaimed chef, author, and host of Travel Channel's "No Reservations," has been dubbed "the bad boy of cuisine" for his rock star looks and blunt observations about the world of restaurants, chefs, and cooking. He will be appearing at the Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall on Sunday, June 27th at 7:30pm.

CAA Announces 2010 Overture Award Winners

The Cincinnati Arts Association is pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Overture Awards Scholarship Competition, held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Aronoff Center's Jarson-Kaplan Theater. The competition annually awards $2,500 scholarships to six area students for post-secondary education, with 18 runners-up each winning $500 scholarships. Students are nominated by their schools to compete in one of six disciplines: Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Theater, Visual Art or Vocal Music. The scholarship program is the largest of its kind in the U.S. and was developed to recognize, encourage and reward excellence in the arts among Tri-state students in grades 9-12. There are three levels of competition: Regional, Semi-Final and Final.

Adding Machine: A Musical opened on Know Theatre's mainstage February 13 and will play through March 6, 2010. Michael Burnham will direct the production and Alan Patrick Kenny is the Musical Director. PLEASE NOTE: the dates have changed from the original production announcement. The opening has been pushed back one week from February 6 to February 13, 2010.
