WORK IT! Workshops is a series of four hands-on workshops held June 4–7 at the Wirtz Center Chicago's Abbot Hall, led by visiting international artists from Physical Theater Festival Chicago. Running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, the sessions offer an immersive exploration of physical theatre, movement, clowning and storytelling. Topics include partner acrobatics, neutral mask to melodrama, clown and stage presence, and writing a solo show. The workshops are designed for multi-level practitioners as well as newcomers to the form.
