Theater of the Mind is a 75-minute immersive sensory journey co-created by David Byrne and Mala Gaonkar, directed by Andrew Scoville with Technology Director Heidi Boisvert, PhD. Sixteen audience members at a time are led by a Guide through sensory experiments derived from historical and current neuroscience research that reveal the inner mysteries of the brain. Guides include James Earl Jones II, Elizabeth Laidlaw, Helen Joo Lee, Em Modaff, Victor Musoni, AJ Paramo, Shariba Rivers, Kelli Simpkins, and Lucky Stiff. The production is presented by the Goodman Theatre during its Centennial 25/26 Season and is recommended for ages 10 and up.
