The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson celebrates four women of the French Revolution: Olympe de Gouges, Charlotte Corday, Marianne Angelle, and Marie-Antoinette. Directed by Iris Sowlat, this final stop of Violet Surprise Theatre's touring production performs in late July to commemorate Bastille Day. A talkback with the audience follows each performance to discuss the themes and their relevance in today's society.
