The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson celebrates four women of the French Revolution: Olympe de Gouges, Charlotte Corday, Marianne Angelle, and Marie-Antoinette. Directed by Iris Sowlat, this touring production by Violet Surprise Theatre performs in community spaces across the Chicago area. A talkback with the audience follows each performance to discuss the themes and their relevance in today's society.
