The Princess Bride at James M. Nederlander Theatre

A world-premiere musical adaptation blending sword fights and satire, absurd fun and true romance, based on the beloved novel and film. Set in the land of Florin, it follows a sweet-natured giant, a six-fingered scoundrel, a vengeance-obsessed Spaniard, and an overconfident meanie who all conspire against two young lovers. The creative team includes book by Bob Martin and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, direction by Alex Timbers, and choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler. Produced by Jeffrey Seller, the show is based on the novel and film by William Goldman.
