Presented by Black Voices in Cabaret, this dynamic production is created, produced, and directed by Lynn Colbert-Jones. The show reimagines the classic art of cabaret through the prism of African American musical excellence. With Theodis Rodgers, Jr. as Music Director and the ever-charismatic Margaret Murphy-Webb as emcee, the evening promises a soul-stirring celebration of artistry and cultural pride.

Headlining the performance is Cynda Williams, acclaimed singer and actress best known for her breakout role in Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues. She is joined by a stellar ensemble of Chicago vocalists:
