The McNary Experience is a Chicago-based band led by lead vocalist Qiana McNary, a frequent performer in Black Ensemble Theater productions. The band features musicians on bass guitar, keys, drums, lead guitar, and two background vocalists, performing a wide variety of music spanning old school to new school, jazz, and funk. This free outdoor concert takes place on the theater's front lawn at the corner of Clark and Sunnyside as part of the Fridays on the Green series, curated by Artistic Director Daryl D. Brooks.
