Evanston Dance Ensemble presents FLASHPOINT: the Young Choreographers Project at Studio5 Performing Arts Center

The Evanston Dance Ensemble (EDE) opens its 23rd season with a strikingly bold encore of one of its most innovative programs, this year entitled FLASHPOINT: The Young Choreographers Project. FLASHPOINT features dancers from EDE, and pairs young choreographers from EDE with professional choreographers who serve as mentors throughout the development of the project. This year, a highlight will be a full company dance set on EDE by special guest Randy Duncan, a three-time recipient of the Ruth Page Award for Outstanding Choreography. Friday, November 22nd at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, November 23rd at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, November 24th at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. Audience members are invited and encouraged to attend talkbacks which will be held after each performance.
