American Mavericks marks the Chicago Philharmonic's debut performance in the new Elie Wiesel Auditorium at the Obama Presidential Center, one of the very first performances ever presented in this landmark cultural space. This intimate, invitation-only evening is limited to 250 guests and features guest artists Kishi Bashi, Njioma Grevious, Melissa Joseph, and Darryl J. Williams. The program is connected to the Side by Side with the Chicago Philharmonic initiative, presented in partnership with the Obama Foundation, which brings together hundreds of community musicians across Chicago.
