The Nutcracker at Halton Theater

The Charlotte Youth Ballet (CYB) today announced it will again present Tchaikovsky’s classic holiday production “The Nutcracker.” Performances will be November 30-December 2. This will mark the 37th season of the non-profit regional ballet company’s presentation of this holiday classic.

Featuring more than 100 dancers, the production is a blend of international guest artists and regional youth dancers, creating a magical performance. While true to the classic production, this choreography also offers unique twists to the fairytale that will delight and astound audiences of all ages. Following the show, audience members will have the opportunity to get autographs from dancers as well as have photographs made with performers including, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker Prince, Clara and more.

Performances are Friday, November 30th at 7:00 pm; Saturday, December 1st at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm; and Sunday, December 2nd at 2:30 pm. Special preview performances for students and seniors are at 9:30 am and 11:30 am on Friday November 30th. All shows are at the Dale F. Halton Theater on the CPCC main campus.  Parking is free.
