One Foot After The Other is the season opener for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, featuring a world premiere inspired by the legacy of civil rights leader John Lewis and his notion of "Good Trouble." Music Director Kwamé Ryan leads the orchestra through this engaging work, as part of a broader exploration of resilience throughout the 2026-27 season. Spotlight Artist Levi Taylor will also be present, showcasing contemporary compositions alongside classical masterpieces. The show runs from September 1 to September 30, 2026.
