Who do you trust when every story has three sides? “Actually”, an edge-of-your-seat two-person play by Anna Ziegler, explores the complicated issues of sexual consent, race, and gender. The Los Angeles Times describes it as “Gripping. Beautifully rendered and complex. Destined to trigger discussion.” The story follows Amber and Tom, two Princeton freshmen whose lives change after a possibly non-consensual sexual encounter. Named a Critic's Pick by New York Magazine and Time Out NY, the play uses a direct, confrontational style to depict both sides of a single night. This thought-provoking drama is ideal for college students, adults, and anyone facing the challenges of finding the truth in 2026. Directed by Amy Wada and featuring Dionte Darko and Luna Mackie.
Running April 25-May 3, 2026, at Armour Street Theatre in Davidson
Recommended for ages 17+. Contains adult content and frank discussions of sexual assault.
