Children's Theatre of Charlotte Holds Unified Season Auditions and Auditions for "Seussical" on June 25 and 26

Adult audition details:
Professional auditions for Children's Theatre of Charlotte's 2011-2012 Crown Experience productions, including "Seussical," will be held at a Unified Season Audition on Saturday, June 25, from 1-5 pm, and Sunday, June 26, from 2-5 pm at ImaginOn. Actors of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to audition. No appointments are necessary. Experienced professional candidates should prepare a short monologue and/or 16 bars of a song (song needed only if interested in performing in "Seussical" or "Busytown"). Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Callbacks will be held Sunday and Monday, July 17-18, from 5-9 pm.

Youth audition details:
Children's Theatre of Charlotte's production of "Seussical" will also feature roles for youth performers ages 10 and up. Auditions are Saturday, June 25, from 1-5 pm, and Sunday, June 26, from 2-5 pm at ImaginOn. No appointments are necessary. Students should prepare 16 bars of a song and bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.

Youth may also gain performance experience through the School of Theatre Training program. Older students may choose to audition for The Ensemble Company (year-long, pre-professional theatre training).
