Wild Child at Penn State Downtown Theatre

Wild Child is a new musical about two anxious teens, Rina and Darin, who meet as avatars in an online game and are then sent to a remote wilderness therapy program where they must confront the truth about themselves without screens. The show features book and lyrics by Dan Marshall and music by Julianne Wick Davis, with direction by John Simpkins, music direction by Noah Landis, and choreography by Trent Soyster. The cast includes Nalia Ahmed, Kyler Beck, Zayna Darres, Johnny Fenton, Anna Garcia, Spencer Kearns, Andre Lajevardi, Kenikki Thompson, Antonio Urrutia III, and Katie Walsh. This is the first ever production of the musical, presented as a developmental co-production between Penn State Centre Stage, Penn State Musical Theatre, and The Breathe Project.
