21st Annual Young Playwrights' Festival at Northeast Middle School Theater

Touchstone Theatre presents the 21st Annual Young Playwrights' Festival, a showcase of short plays written by local elementary and middle school students through the theatre's Young Playwrights' Lab, an eight-week arts and literacy residency program. This year's four finalists include Rock, Scissors, And... by Keagen Frendt, Adam Meets Eve by Sofia Hernandez, The Last Three Days by Ben Harney, and The Dream by Zori Sawyer, directed by Amber Charest, Amy Putlock, Darah Donaher, and Matt Prideaux, respectively. The plays, performed by Touchstone actors, community performers, and students, explore themes ranging from whimsical fantasy to love, resilience, and bravery. The festival is presented in partnership with the Bethlehem Area School District at Northeast Middle School Theater.
