THE TREE IN THE MIRROR Mural Grows on the Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem

A new cross-culturally inspired mural entitled 'The Tree in the Mirror' now adorns the northern wall of Touchstone Theatre, designed by international artists Deng Dafei and He Hai, directors of the Beijing-Hangzhou visual arts collective called the Utopia Group, and created in collaboration with local mural artist Jim Gloria, Co-Founder of the Totts Gap Arts Institute in Bangor, PA through the institute's Heritage Mural Education program.

Civic Theatre to Host 5th Annual Tonys & Tapas Event

On Saturday, June 6, the evening before the nationally televised Tony Awards Ceremony, Civic Theatre of Allentown will present its 5th annual Tonys & Tapas Benefit to raise money for the Allentown theatre's general operating fund. Guests will enjoy vocal performances of selections from recent Broadway shows, as well as samplings from some of the Valley's finest restaurants and caterers. The event will also feature a live auction, open wine-beer-champagne bar, and special surprises.

Eric Idle's Spamalot elevated to cult classic status when King Arthur and his haphazard knights first stormed the Broadway stage in 2005, earning Spamalot the Tony Award for Best Musical and garnering 14 other Tony nominations. The Ephrata Performing Arts Center will present this madcap comedy at EPAC's Sheridan Bigler Theater. The production opens on April 30, 2015, and runs through May 16, 2015.
