York Little Theatre will present Disney's ALADDIN JR September 25-27 & October 1-4. Aladdin JR. is a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and flying carpet rides. The Academy award-winning score includes favorites such as "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" with all of your favorite characters from the hit Disney film including Aladdin, Jasmine, Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more! Featuring an intricate set with magical special effects, colorful, elaborate costumes and innovative choreography, this show is fun-filled for the entire family!

ALADDIN JR is directed by Rene Staub. Vocal Direction is by Jacquie Sutton and Choreography is by Ashley Zimmerman. A cast of over 40 representing some of the area's most talented youth age 17 and younger is led by Spring Grove H.S. Sophomore Seth Shields as Aladdin and Dallastown H.S. Senior Caitlyn Parker as Jasmine. They are joined by Spring Grove H.S. Sophomore Vinnie Beck as Genie, Dover H.S. Senior Brady Bennett as Jafar and West York H.S. Senior Noah Schmitt as Iago. The show also includes nine technical dancers from area dance schools.

ALADDIN JR. will be the first show in the newly renovated main stage theatre. Renovations include new carpeting and furniture in the lobby as well as new seats, carpeting and a new main curtain in the theatre. The theatre's new color scheme includes grey and black carpeting with purple seats, main curtain and lobby furniture.
