Gettysburg Community Theatre Sets 2016 Season

Gettysburg Community Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 organization located in the original Elks Lodge building at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in historic downtown Gettysburg, is currently producing the rock musical The Rocky Horror Show LIVE on stage at 8pm and 11:55pm October 29-31, 2015, Irving Berlin's classic Annie Get Your Gun November 6-15, 2015, and the new stage adaptation of A Charlie Brown Christmas December 3-13, 2015.

Gettysburg Community Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 organization located in the original Elks Lodge building at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in historic downtown Gettysburg, will present rock musical The Rocky Horror Show LIVE on stage at 8pm and 11:55pm October 29-31, 2015. Costumes and audience participation are encouraged at this BYOB special event, and while outside props are not allowed in, the theatre will be selling Rocky prop goodie bags as a fundraiser so guests can enjoy the audience participation parts of the show even more.

Based on the 1974 Stephen King thriller and 1979 Brian DePalma film, Carrie: The Musical has cemented its roll in history as a spine-chilling classic that turns the struggles of adolescence upside down. Enjoying a recent off-Broadway revival, King's tale of a girl's supernatural powers has evolved into a cult classic adored by audiences. Ephrata Performing Arts Center will present this evocative thriller at EPAC's Sharidan Bigler Theatre. The production opens on October 15, 2015, and runs through October 31, 2015.
Caravan of Thieves Returning to The Ware Center, Today

Returning from The Ware Center's first season, the four piece, gypsy band Caravan of Thieves will perform in the atrium at the Ware Center today, October 3, 2015 at 7:30 PM. Acoustic guitars along with upright bass and violin lay the foundation for this musically intense show, and spectators  are encouraged to sing, snap, and clap along to the driving gypsy rhythms and humorous, theatrical performances that Caravan of Thieves have become so known for. All tickets include complimentary beverage service which begins at 7:00 PM. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.
