Saturday, March 14 at 11 am and 2 pm: Two Shows!By popular demand, Bonnie Duncan and The Gottabees return to Just Kidding to reprise their kid-friendly puppet musical. Sylvie is sent to the backyard to hang up the laundry. The moment her back is turned, a mischievous squirrel steals her favorite piece of clothing and runs off. When Sylvie gives chase, an entire world emerges from her laundry basket, and curious characters show her the way through mysterious lands. Will our lonely heroine rescue her underpants and discover the magic within herself? Through wordless puppetry action and live music, the audience will discover something imaginative and new. The Gottabees' stories reflect children's everyday aspirations, concerns, and emotional experiences. Their wordless approach to storytelling removes language barriers and activates different aspects of their audience's imagination. The result is a poetic, nonlinear story that surprises audiences.
