Blackfriars Theatre Announces MELANIE AND THE RECORD MAN Cast

Blackfriars Theatre, a professional, not-for-profit theatre located on Rochester, NY's "Theatre Row" announces that casting has been completed for its first original production, "Melanie And The Record Man," to premiere October 19, 2012. In addition to Melanie Safka, as herself, and Broadway and regional theatre veteran Nicolette Hart (Broadway /National tour RENT, Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer, Million Dollar Quartet),who will play Melanie's younger self, the cast includes some of Rochester's most accomplished actors as follows:

Nick Faruch (as Peter Schekeryk)

Danny Hoskins (Man 1)

Janine Mercandetti (Woman 1)

Carl Del Buono (back-up singer)

Robyn Fazio (back-up singer)

Beau Jared Schekeryk (back-up singer, musical director)

Blackfriars Theatre is located at 795 East Main Street, Rochester, NY. There is parking available on site, and handicapped seating is available.

MasterCard, Visa, and Discover are available at no additional charge.

For information and reservations, please call 454-1260. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.blackfriars.org If available, tickets can be purchased at the door beginning one-hour prior to performance. Box Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Saturdays, noon to 4:00 pm.
