Mary Poppins Jr.

Encore South Bay in Torrance, California continues to run youth musical theatre summer camps, but Mary Poppins Jr. was a prior-season title and is not part of the 2026 program. The 2026 lineup consists of a one-week non-performance K-Pop Demon Hunters camp (July 20-24, ages 5-11), 2.5-week performance camps of The Lion King Jr. (June 24 - July 10) and Matilda Jr. (July 29 - August 14, sold out) for ages 5-13, and a four-week Mean Girls High School Edition (June 22 - July 17) for students entering 6th grade through age 17. In the 2.5-week performance camps, which are priced at $950 for 2026, campers audition, learn harmonies and choreography from professional staff, wear full costumes, work with professional sound and lighting, and perform for a live audience at a local performing arts center. Rehearsals take place at Encore's studio on Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance.

Mary Poppins Jr. is not offered in 2026; the equivalent 2.5-week performance camps now cost $950. The mary-poppins-jr.html page has been retitled 'Aladdin Jr.' but still displays 2025 Mary Poppins text, so it should not be treated as current.
