What begins as a joyful act of queer solidarity through sport becomes an unexpected act of resistance, following Ash, caught between Olympic dreams and the truth of who they are at one of the nation's top collegiate track programs. The track becomes the stage of public opinion in an electrifying new musical about perseverance, chosen family, and the courage to run your own race. Bachman's music blends the voices of Broadway talents with rock, opera, musical theatre, and poetry.
