54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Lauren Stanford in "More Than You Know" on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at 9:30pm

Late nights in Prohibition-era NYC you could find singer Helen Morgan iconically perched on the piano at her club, relying too much on brandy and 'torching' until even the most hardened gangster wept into his beer. "More Than You Know" is a dramatic recreation of Helen Morgan's final night in residency at New York City's Simplon Club in 1932. Written and performed by Lauren Stanford, the play contains songs the chanteuse made famous, including Jerome Kern's "Bill" and "Why Was I Born.

Directed by MAC award winning director Eric Michael Gillett, Music Direction by Mike Pettry, with accompanist Dan Furman.

Lauren Stanford in "More Than You Know" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on March 20th, 2015 at 9:30pm. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at www.54Below.com. Tickets on the day of performance after 4:00 are only available by calling (646) 476-3551.

Nightlife Exchange named Lauren Stanford one of the 25 people in cabaret to watch in 2015. She recently completed a run of her solo cabaret debut entitled I'm a Stranger Here Myself at The Metropolitan Room. In the past year she has performed in the MAC Award winning Amanda McBroom Project and in An Evening of Garland. Lauren won the MetroStar Competition in 2013. www.laurenstanford.com.
