Sullivan County, Tenn., known as the birthplace of country music, and Ashe County, N.C., are two counties located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia. Methamphetamine and prescription drug addiction account for a large portion of local crime. In order to keep the peace, local law enforcement takes a ?tough love? approach to their work.
