truTV to Present Live Coverage of NCAA National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship

Turner Sports will present the 2017 NCAA National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship, held Friday-Sunday, May 5-7, from Gulf Shores, Ala., with live coverage airing across truTV, TBS and streaming on NCAA.com. truTV will televise live event coverage on Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6, beginning at 3 p.m. ET, with the championship round airing Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. on TBS.

In addition to televised coverage, NCAA.com will provide live streaming from every match beginning with the 2016 champions and No. 1 ranked USC vs. No. 8 South Carolina on Friday, May 5, at 10 a.m. ET.

Anne Marie Anderson will provide play-by-play commentary for all matches alongside analyst Holly McPeak and reporters Camryn Irwin and Yogi Roth.

All matches airing on truTV and TBS will also be available through Turner's TV Everywhere platforms including THE WATCH TBS and Watch truTV apps. Additionally, fans can follow the conversation and action on social by using the hashtag #NCAABeachVB.

Beach volleyball is the fastest-growing NCAA sport with 60 sponsoring schools. The addition of the beach volleyball championship becomes the 45th NCAA championship administered for women. The championship will have an eight-team bracket that will be played in a double-elimination format with teams consisting of five pairs of female student-athletes. Competition will observe standard beach volleyball rules with up to five sets and the winning team needing to win three in order to advance to the next round.
