YO SOY EL ARTISTA's Second Round of Auditions Air this Weekend

The second round of Auditions on Telemundo's new mega-reality competition, "Yo Soy El Artista" (I Am the Artist), brings more drama, emotion and heartfelt stories, this Sunday, September 21 at 8pm/7c. A new group of participants is ready to convince THE 100 digital and social media influencers in order to demonstrate their talent in front of the show's host, Lucero, and celebrity judges Luis Fonsi, Olga Tañón, Mario Quintero Lara, Stephanie Himonidis "La Chiquibaby" and Boris Izaguirre. With the dream of being selected for the next phase, be admitted to the "Escuela de Artistas" (Artist's School) and become the ultimate artist, this episode will feature the most amazing human stories, including a transgender contestant who captivated the audience with her talent and story of triumph, a contestant with an angelical voice and a former "The Voice" participant. In this episode, teen sensation Austin Mahone, who has become a celebrity with his music videos on YouTube, brings his latest single "Mmm Yeah" to the gigantic "Yo Soy el Artista" stage.

The 13 contestants already selected during last Sunday's first night of Auditions, will join the new group of participants from the second round. After the conclusion of the Auditions' phase, comes the much anticipated Selection Day, in a special episode with many surprises where, under tough talent challenges, a group of talented candidates will be chosen to realize their dream of being admitted to the "Escuela de Artistas." In the School, these candidates will go through rigorous training throughout the final phase of the competition, the Galas, where each Sunday, they will perform in front of the judges, a live audience and TV viewers, ultimately deciding who will be selected as the "Yo Soy el Artista" winner.
