Comedian Louis CK Joins Cast of Woody Allen Film

Acclaimed director Woody Allen has announced details for his upcoming film, which will include an all-star cast led by Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett, comedian Louis C.K. and actor Alec Baldwin according to Reuters. The cast will also include British actress Sally Hawkins, "Lost" actor Michael Emerson, comedian Andrew Dice Clay and "Green Lantern" star Peter Sarsgaard. The project is currently untitled.

The director revealed that the film will begin shooting on location this summer in both New York and San Francisco. This will be the first time Allen has set one of his movies in San Francisco since his 1969 directorial debut, "Take The Money And Run." The film also a marks a return to an American backdrop for his story. His last three projects have been set in London, Paris and Rome.

The 76-year-old director has helmed more than 40 films over an astonishing six-decade career. He will appear opposite co-star Penelope Cruz and Jesse Eisenberg in his upcoming film, "To Rome With Love," opening in U.S. theaters on June 22. Allen recently received an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for last year's "Midnight In Paris," starring Owen Wilson.
