According to Deadline, Wilmer Valderrama has signed on for FOX's upcoming MINORITY REPORT pilot.

From Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and GODZILLA writer Max Borenstein, MINORITY REPORT is based on a 2002 Spielberg film of the same name, which starred Tom Cruise. Set 10 years from the end of Precrime in Washington, D.C., Valderrama will play "one of the three Precogs, Dash (Stark Sands), struggles to lead a "normal" human life but remains haunted by visions of the future when he meets a detective, Lara Vega (Meghan Good), who's haunted by her past and just might help him find a purpose to his gift. Valderrama will play Will Blake, a new police detective at the precinct who fills in for Vega when she's out on leave, and when Vega sizes him up, she decides she doesn't like him.

Mark Mylod will direct the project. Among his past credits are ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME pilot, as well as the pilot of Golden Globe-winner THE AFFAIR for Showtime. Borenstein and Falls are executive producing alongside Amblin TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

Valderrama hosted the MTV series Yo Momma, and voiced the character of Manny in the children's show Handy Manny. He most recently starred as Detective Efrem Vega in the 2012 NBC series Awake. His other credits include the films Fast Food Nation and Columbus Day.
