West Coast To Premiere ECHOES at The Hollywood Fringe Festival

West Coast Premiere of the multiple award-winning drama "Echoes" by acclaimed UK playwright Henry Naylor. "Echoes," the winner of the Best Theatre Award and Spirit of the Fringe at the Adelaide Fringe, Spirit of the Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe, and the Creative Award at the Prague Fringe, tells the story of two young women, born 175 years apart - a jihadi schoolgirl in modern day London, and a colonial pioneer from Victorian England - who experience similar horrors when they travel to the East. Opens June 8 as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival at the Broadwater Second Stage, 6320 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, California 90038.
"Echoes" explores how the mistreatment and repression of women at the end of the 19th century is sadly repeated ("echoed") in today's society. With relevance to both the #metoo movement and the plight of Syrian refugees, this fierce work is more timely than ever.
