WFUV rocks the 2016 presidential election with special coverage from 8pm to midnight on Tuesday, November 8th. Evening host Alisa Ali will spin the music and take listener requests all night long, while NPR and WFUV's own News Department, anchored by George Bodarky, will keep you up-to-speed on the results. Political humorist Scott Blakeman will also be part of the mix, to provide astute observations about this year's big race.

Host Alisa Ali describes the music of the evening: "We'll be revisiting this year's presidential campaign through song, and spinning a (small "d") democratic set of music requested by listeners." News & Public Affairs Director George Bodarky adds, "No matter how you slice it, this is an election of historic proportions. We're super excited to head in full-throttle with our team of reporters to provide contextual coverage throughout the night."

WFUV will take you into our studio via Facebook Live streams at various points during the night, and we'll be checking into local viewing parties and hearing from our field reporters at Trump Tower and at Hillary Clinton's camp at the Javits Center. Our hosts will also be interacting with WFUV listeners on Facebook (WFUV Public Radio) and Twitter (@wfuv) throughout the night.
