WANDA SYKES: NOT NORMAL to Debut on HBO in May
Netflix has announced that Wanda Sykes: Not Normal will launch globally on May 21, according to Deadline.
This stand-up special will be Sykes' fifth special and her first one on Netflix. Her previous specials include Wanda Sykes: Tongue Untied in 2003, Wanda Sykes: Sick and Tired in 2006, I'ma Be Me in 2009, and What Happened... Ms Sykes n 2016.
The hour-long Wanda Sykes: Not Normal is produced by Sykes & Page Hurwitz's Push It Productions.
Sykes is Emmy nominated for her special I'ma Be Me, and she won an Emmy for outstanding writing for The Chris Rock Show. Sykes starred on the CBS sitcom New Adventures of Old Christine and she made appearances on Curb Your Enthusiam. She currently stars on the Comedy Central series The Other Two and will be voicing a character in the upcoming animated film Uglydolls.
