Nashville has set the dates for its midseason return, as well as the series finale, according to Deadline. The show will return on June 7, and the finale is set for July 26. Watch the promo video!

Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Clare Brown, Chris Carmack, Kaitlin Doubleday, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Maisy Stella and Lennon Stella star in the series produced by Lionsgate and Opry Entertainment.

The network also has reported that two new characters will debut during the remaining eight episodes. Ronny Cox will play Gideon, a would-be musician and recently reformed alcoholic, and Mia Maestro is Rosa, a dedicated follower of Darius' movement.

Nashville is an American musical drama television series. It was created by Academy Award winner Callie Khouri and produced by R. J. Cutler, Khouri, Dee Johnson, Steve Buchanan, and Connie Brittonthrough season four, and Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick from season five on.

The series chronicles the lives of various fictitious country music singers in Nashville, Tennessee starring Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, a legendary country music superstar, whose stardom begins fading, and Hayden Panettiere as rising younger star Juliette Barnes. Britton left the show in season five.
