VIDEO: LAST WEEK's John Oliver Returns with Some 'Trump vs Truth' Questions!

Presenting a satirical look at the week in news, politics and current events, as well as addressing broader issues, the Emmy-winning LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER returns for its fourth season SUNDAY, FEB. 12 (11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. In this first show of the fourth season, Last Week Tonight asks four basic questions of the new Trump administration: How did get a pathological liar get into the White House? Where are his lies coming from? Why do so many people believe him? And, what can we do about it? Last Week Tonight took action to address the fourth question in an attempt to reach Trump directly.

The show is also available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.

The show is the only weekly news-oriented comedy series to be presented on Sunday night. Taped in New York a few hours before it debuts on HBO, the show features a mix of Oliver's topical commentary, pre-taped pieces and occasional guests.

In 2016, LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER received three Primetime Emmys®, including Outstanding Variety Talk Series, Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series and Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming.

In 2015, the show received an Emmy® in the category of Outstanding Interactive Program. The show was honored at the 21st Critics Choice Awards in the category of Best Talk Show, and received a Peabody Award, as well as Writers Guild Award in the category of Comedy/Variety (Including Talk)?-?Series.
