Talk show host Kelly Ripa made her return to LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL for the first time since ABC announced the news that her co-host Michael Strahan, would be leaving the show to become a full-time anchor on GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

According to reports, Ripa was furious that she was not told in advance of the news and has been absent from her morning show since last week.

Today, she congratulated Strahan on his new GMA gig and also addressed her recent absence from the "Live" stage, explaining that she took some time to gain perspective.Watch her return below!
