Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Josh Groban told CBS THIS MORNING co-hosts Gayle King, Norah O'Donnell and Charlie Rose that the next goal for his celebrated career is to appear on the Broadway stage, in an interview that was broadcast live, today, May 10, 2013 on the CBS Television Network.

"I'd never be happier than doing Broadway," Groban said. "But it's the right time and the right show." He added that he would like to "settle down" following his upcoming tour.

Excerpts from the interview are below.

CHARLIE ROSE: How about Broadway or something like that?

JOSH GROBAN: That would be amazing. I think one of the reasons I finally moved to New York is that it was calling me. I went to school for musical theater. My voice I think really works well. I've been honored that the Broadway Community has been so open-armed and that I've made so many great friends in the Broadway community. I think it's still my #1 dream to do something on Broadway. I'd never be happier than doing Broadway. But it's the right time and the right show.

GAYLE KING: Are you singing love songs, is there anyone sharing the abode other than Sweeney?

JOSH GROBAN: No, I'd like to settle down soon, I'm about to embark on my fourth tour. And it's hard to meet somebody and be able to really connect, because you're in a town for 24 hours and home is where the pillow is.
