Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson stopped by the DISH NATION studios this week to reveal exclusive behind-the-scenes news about a "Sex and the City" sequel.

The actress and singer, who appeared in the first big screen adaptation of the HBO series as Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker) personal assistant, told DISH NATION that she has been in discussions about reprising her role.

"Somebody just came to me talking about that," the 33-year-old shared. "So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it."

An Academy Award-winning actress, Grammy Award-winning recording artist and best-selling author, Hudson is an extraordinary talent. From humble beginnings, Hudson began singing in a small Chicago church where, week after week, she brought the congregation to its feet. From there, she's gone on to worldwide acclaim.

This year was a huge success for Hudson's music career, most recently being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was also honored with the privilege to perform the Presidential Inauguration, SUPER BOWL XLVII and the Academy Awards. In 2013, Hudson appeared in three films, "Winnie Mandela," "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete" and her return to an on-screen musical in "Black Nativity."

She recently appeared on the TONY AWARDS to perform a number from the Broadway-bound musical 'Finding Neverland.'
