Deadline has debuted the first teaser trailer for James Franco's upcoming adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's CHILD OF GOD, premiering this week at the Venice International Film Festival. Check it out below!

Scott Haze, Tim Blake Nelson, and Franco star in the film, which follows a violent social outcast in the 1960s who descends into madness, becoming a serial killer in Tennessee.
