Nick Swardson and Simon Rex are back for season two of TYPICAL RICK, the odd-couple series chronicling the lives of struggling actors Gary (Swardson) and Rick (Rex) as they try to make it in Hollywood. The six-episode season premieres July 24 on cc.com, the Comedy Central app, and YouTube. Guest stars include Charlie Sheen, Chris D'Elia (reprising his season-one role), and Michael Rosenbaum, and surprise cameos abound. Nick Goossen, who directed Swardson in the cult comedy Grandma's Boy, directs.

"Typical Rick season two is bigger. We expanded the world for Gary and Rick. We made it crazier and more insane," said Swardson. "Since we're both insane in real life, it was easy to do."

In season two, Gary and Rick determine how much "method acting" to apply to their bit roles, overindulge on the way to Coachella, weigh the pros and cons of gun ownership, get to know Hollywood's gay nightlife scene, pretend to be southerners to impress a belle, and much more - before Gary gets cast in the role of a lifetime alongside old frenemy Luke Sado (D'Elia).

Nick Swardson and Nick Goossen are Executive Producers. Jordan Ellner is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

Available on-air, online and on-the-go via the Comedy Central App, Comedy Central (www.cc.com) is the #1 brand in comedy and is owned by, and is a registered trademark of, Comedy Partners, a wholly-owned unit of Viacom Inc.
