Watch the first clip from LAVA, Pixar's new short, which premieres in front of Inside Out next summer.

Inspired by the ISOLATED beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes, "LAVA" is a musical love story that takes place over millions of years.

From Pixar Animation Studios, director James Ford Murphy and producer Andrea Warren, "LAVA" opens in theaters on June 19, 2015, in front of "Inside Out."

LAVA is one of three new animated shorts announced by Disney. Also on tap, "Frozen Fever," which will revolve around Anna's birthday and the complications that result when Elsa's icy powers get in the way of throwing a celebration. The short, which will reunite "Frozen" directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2015.

"Feast" will tell the story of a Boston terrier puppy named Winston and his relationship with his owner over 12 years. Directed by Patrick Osborne, the short will play in front of Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Big Hero 6," out Nov. 7.
