The cast of Steve McQueen's '12 Years a Slave', which picked up a Golden Globe award last night for 'Best Film Drama', appeared on this morning's TODAY show on NBC and shared that working on the film was a reward in itself. Check out the appearance below!

The 71st AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the second year in a row, aired last night, January 12, 2014, LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC from the Beverly Hilton. The 71st AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards was seen in more than 192 countries and is produced by Dick Clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Among the night's winners were AMC's Breaking Bad and its star Bryan Cranston, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams for 'American Hustle' and '12 Years a Slave' for Best Motion Picture Drama.
