Tracie Thoms to Guest Star on CBS Pilot APPLEBAUM
Tracie Thoms will guest star in the upcoming CBS pilot APPLEBAUM. The actress will play the role of 'Kat' described as a former doctor, a loving mother and the loyal, supportive best friend of the lead character, 'Juliet', played by Rachel Lefevre.
APPLEBAUM was written by Ayelet Waldman and is based on Waldman’s Mommy Track Mysteries series of books. The story centers on Juliet Applebaum, a former public defender who becomes a private investigator to keep from being bored as a stay-at-home mom. Chris Columbus is directing the pilot.
Tracie was a series regular for years on "Cold Case," starred in the "Rent" movie and Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof," and played Anne Hathaway's buddy in "The Devil Wears Prada." She's starred on Broadway in "Rent", "The Drowning Crow" and "Stick Fly."
