Annaleigh Ashford, who had a stint on Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX last season, may soon be returning to the small screen.

According to Deadline, the Tony nominee has signed on for CBS' upcoming comedy pilot SUPER CLYDE, from Greg Garcia and starring Charlie McDermott).

SUPER CLYDE "follows Clyde (Charlie McDermott), a meek, unassuming fast-food worker who decides to become a superhero?. Ashford will play Britney, the high school sweetheart of Clyde's older brother Duke who dumped him once she found out he would not be inheriting his uncle's fortune. Now, Duke is pulling out all the stops to win her back."

The project was previously set up with Rupert Grint in 2013.

ASHFORD recently starred on Broadway in You Can't Take It With You opposite James Earl Jones, which has been critically acclaimed, with her performance being described as "constantly en pointe" by Variety, and Ashford as a "sly comic genius" by The New York Times. She can also be seen on television as Betty DiMello, the prostitute, on Showtime's Masters of Sex. Annaleigh was Tony-nominated for her role as Lauren in Kinky Boots and is also known for her work in Rent (Maureen), for which she was nominated for a Drama League Award and Clive Barnes Award, Dogfight (Marcy), Chicago production of Wicked (Glinda) and Legally Blonde (Margot).
