The CW to Broadcast IHEARTRADIO SUMMER POOL PARTY in June
As part of its ongoing partnership with iHeartMedia, The CW will once again broadcast the annual IHEARTRADIO SUMMER POOL PARTY concert as a one-hour special, Thursday, June 11 (9:00-10:00 pm ET).
The event will take place Saturday, May 30 - and for the first time ever, the summer's hottest party will be at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, featuring live performances by Nick Jonas, Chris Brown, Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj, Shaggy and Echosmith, with more performers and special presenters to be announced.
The CW was as the exclusive broadcast partner of the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party 2014, with the televised concert special to air Wednesday, July 9th, 8:00-9:30 pm ET. The stars of the new CW comedy JANE THE VIRGIN, Gina Rodriguez and Andrea Navedo, joined concert-goers poolside at The Fontainebleu Miami Beach July 27-28. The CW also partnered with Clear Channel Media + Entertainment to create a robust on-air and digital campaign around the event, including a national sweepstakes for two grand prize winners to attend the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party, and provided premium branded items for Pool Party attendees.
