Telemundo 47 Announces Local Broadcast Schedule for the 2018 World Cup Russia Beginning June 14

As the Tri-State's exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, Telemundo 47 / WNJU today announced its local broadcast and digital programming schedule for the World Cup Russia games. Telemundo 47's coverage of the World Cup will begin Thursday, June 14 and continue through the conclusion of the final match on Sunday, July 15. To support WNJU's exclusive coverage of the World Cup games, some of WNJU's local programming will air on multicast network TeleXitos on local over-the-air channel 47.2.

Beginning June 14, Telemundo 47 will air special shows and segments like "Acceso Rusia" (Russia Access), "Hoy En Rusia" (Today in Russia), "Recorriendo Rusia" (Traveling Through Russia). The station's special World Cup programming will be complimented with new digital content like interactive World Cup games and score cards that will be accessible to audiences on Telemundo47.com and the station's mobile app "Telemundo 47." In addition, soccer fans everywhere can watch Telemundo 47's livestream of the World Cup Russia games through the station's app.

From June 14 to July 15 and during select time periods including weekdays at 6 AM, 12 PM and 5 PM, and Sundays at 8 AM, audiences can tune in to TeleXitos network to watch the station's regular programming.
