Actress Taraji P. Henson, star of the hit CBS drama PERSON OF INTEREST, talks about the shocking death of her character, Detective Carter, when she visits the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Wednesday, Nov. 20 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will be Henson's first television interview since her character's surprising demise on Tuesday night's episode of the series.

On last night's episode of PERSON OF INTEREST, Carter and Reese (Jim Caviezel) evaded a city full of criminals and corrupt Cops in order to deliver the head of the criminal organization HR into federal custody. Reese eventually used himself as a diversion, giving Carter time to complete their mission. Reese is later reunited with Carter, but their success is short-lived when Officer Simmons (Robert John Burke), a member of HR, ambushes and shoots them both, killing Detective Carter.

PERSON OF INTEREST is broadcast Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Late Show with David Letterman is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
